MEET OUR PASTOR
Pastor Dakota was saved at 11 years old as the result of the Bus Ministry of Amazing Grace Baptist Church in Mount Airy NC. 5 years later at the age of 16, God dealt with his heart about preaching the gospel and he surrendered to that call! God blessed him with many opportunities to proclaim the gospel during his teenage years and he was involved in various ministries at his home church….
Pastor met his wife Kelsey in 2019 and they wed in June, 2020. In 2021 they stepped out by faith to become missionaries with Rock of Ages Ministries were they served for 2 years before becoming our pastor on August 30, 2023.

In early 1947 a group of men with mule-drawn wagons took apart the abandoned county-line school building and moved it to a corner property on Reece road for the purpose of instituting at Baptist Church. On October 17, 1947 Mira Fork Missionary Baptist Church (named for the stream that runs through the property) was constituted!
